Flying webcast: Weather - a detailed look at one day

The weather's bad, so I have finished the next webcast already. It's called "Weather - a detailed look at one day" with David Thomson.

He doesn't start looking at a day on the day, but starts a few days in advance to get the bigger picture, allowing him to make more accurate predictions about what's going to happen when on a given flying day.

In this webcast he used Sunday, 11th July to illustrate how he goes about doing a forecast, taking into consideration various sources on the internet and also how the weather looks and feels in reality.

Many thanks for that Judith and Mark for doing it. I've always struggled to understand and make the most of RASP and this has helped me a lot.

Both very useful, know quite a bit on RASP but there was a few things I still learned. As to the weather for 11th. Well that I have to watch a few times, way too much information on surface pressure charts, fronts etc for me to take in at once. Just glad I flew that day! And lucky to experience the day that relates to the cast! Will watch both several times for sure.
