Ski Lessons
We operate Ski lessons when Nevis Range Resort is open and snow conditions are good. Our lessons are 2 hour slots
10am to 12pm & 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
We keep everything simple, so its £100 per person for a 2 hour lesson regardless of age and level. The group size you will be in is a maximum of 4 people, but on quiet times this could be 1 to 1.

Beginner

Never Skied before or coming back after a long lay off, we start right from the basics.
Can just do the basics like holding a snowplough, but not used the ski lifts.
Can ski a little and use basic ski lifts and ski at least beginner green slopes.

Intermediate
Can use all lifts and ski at least Blue Intermediate Slopes.

Advanced
Can use all lifts and ski at least Red/Black advanced Slopes.
Our Prices & How to book
Please don't forget to turn up for your lesson with ski pass and equipment as we don't supply these. Helmet is also mandatory.

Lesson Prices
We charge a flat rate of £100 per person per 2 hour lesson. (This does not include lift pass or ski hire)
Ski hire & lift pass can be purchased from Nevis Range. Links below. I will be around at the Base Station before your lesson to make sure you have the right kit.

How to Book & Availability
Contact Mark on 07703979149 or message on the contact form telling what lesson you want, the date, time and how long for.

Then once date is agreed hire your equipment and purchase lift pass.

Meeting & Payment
Once we have agreed a date and time we will meet at Nevis Range Base Station by Ski Hire. Please try and be ready 15mins before your lesson.
Look out for my red & blue Beyond Extreme Instructor Jacket.
A deposit of £20 is required and the balance paid in cash Preferably on the hill.

What to Wear for Skiing

Ski jacket, Salopettes, Gloves or mittens

Insurance (Not Mandatory but if required)
Although Skiing is very safe, it is a risk sport, just like many other outdoor activities. If you feel you need insurance, just in case you twist your ankle or something and it will affect your work. I have a link below.

"Free Ski Friday"
Nevis Local Primary Kids
I will be offering local primary school children around the Nevis Range area free Beginner Skiing taster sessions on Friday afternoons. Maximum 6 in a group and must be complete beginners.
All you need to do is hire your equipment and purchase a lift pass.
My services from 1.30pm to 3.30pm are free.
(Try to be completely ready 15 mins before the start of the lesson)
I will also keep ski records and offer progression lessons, but priority is given for beginners.

What Next
As a general guideline, if your child can ride a bike or capable of learning to ride a bike, they can learn to ski.

I have already started a list so please get in touch by text or contact form, If you are interested.

To make it fare I will just go through the list in the order from when it came in.
​
Please be patient as I promise to fit you in the best I can.

How it works
I will keep an eye on the weather and message the relevant 6 people a few days before the Friday to see if you are available.
If we are booked in with me, you will then need to book your ski hire and lift pass. Links above.
Remember you have to pay for your hire and pass but my services are free.

On the Day
With weather conditions, skiing lifts etc can be cancelled last minute. You need to keep an eye on the Nevis Range website to see if it is open.

If open I will be waiting by ski hire at the bottom at 1.15pm. I will travel up with the children and also make sure they are down safe with me at the end of the lesson.
